My name is Leo and I am awesome.

In 2016 when I was 31, I relocated from Russia to Poland, lived there until 2021, then relocated to the UK until 2025. Had my fair share of travelling around the world too.

I gambled professionally for a living — poker and sports betting at the highest level. Had a successful career in the gambling industry until Russia banned it, including being a CEO of a boutique VIP sports betting company.

I owned a small business — a board games club.

I managed huge IT projects with big teams and big budgets.

I passed audits and performed audits.

I am a top level information security executive, successfully leading functions, departments and change — including executing a successful transition to shared services.

I have hands-on experience in AI automation of information security functions.

AI is the future of GRC and will replace most human efforts in the area, leaving control and creativity to humans.

Beyond Work

I am an expert bridge player and teacher — participated in Junior Worlds in 2009 and 2010, top 250 in UK rating in 2025.

I ride a Harley-Davidson and have an Iron Butt Saddlesore 1600K patch.

I smoke cigars and prefer whiskey to other drinks.

I like comic books — Watchmen and Hitman are my favourites, other than that anything DC Gotham-related is cool.

I have played countless board games and TCGs — currently playing Pokémon TCG and Mindbug more or less actively.
